I hope that all families had a happy and fun Winter Break. At my home, we gave each other the gift of colds and flu! It was no fun being sick, but we all managed to enjoy ourselves!
We will be getting right to work practicing our reading, writing and math. We will begin our math journals, and daily writing in our literature journals. We will finish up our unit on "Friends" and in Science we will be learning about the winter weather and artic animals.
Many parents expressed an interest in volunteering in the classroom when I spoke with them at the Parent Conferences. Please let me know if you are interested to help in any way, and we also encourage all to sign up to be a Mystery Reader! | | HomeworkHomework will be sent home on Tuesday, January 12th. We have a holiday on Monday, January 18, so the homework will be due on Tuesday, January 19. |
