Serrania is proud to offer a PE program to all the children in our school. Our gifted and talented PE coach and coordinator, Dani McKinney, has created a program where each classroom partakes each week. Coach Danni along with Coach Felicity and Coach Lois lead the students through a specialized program that teaches the basic skills for different sports as well as teamwork, health and fitness. All 5th grade classes are prepared for the district run health and fitness testing held each June and all classes participate in our mini Olympics.

Computer Lab

Our computer lab instructor is Mrs. Anne Huber. Students have grade specific lessons with the goal of giving them the foundation they need for a life in the technology age.

Music

Serrania offers an Instrumental Music program for all grade levels, although the program is mandatory only for grades 1st - 3rd. First and second grade students receive instruction on the recorder while 3rd grade students are instructed on the keyboard. Fourth and fifth grade students have the opportunity to participate in the Band & Orchestra program that gives instruction on Woodwind, String and Brass instruments. All students also receive Choral instruction on a regular basis and have the opportunity to sing in the school choir.
