Welcome to Friends of Serrania’s Web Page for Serrania Charter for Enriched Studies Elementary School!
Serrania Charter Elementary is our wonderful little neighborhood school located south of Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, California. We are a dynamic and diverse community in the southwest San Fernando Valley and are very fortunate to have brilliant teachers and strong leadership. We have a successful SAS program in addition to the standards based curriculum and as a result of our active parent group, we offer an enriched curriculum to all our students. We are very proud of school and our many accomplishments to date, but are even more excited about the future of our school.
School starts Tuesday, August 11th at 8:00 a.m

What is a Transitional Kindergarten?
Transitional kindergarten is a program that builds a bridge between early learning years and traditional kindergarten.
Transitional kindergarten is the first year of a two year kindergarten program. It is designed for students who turn 5 years old between September 2 and December 2, 2014. This program will give our children an opportunity to learn important academic and social skills in a hands-on way that supports their development.
